  • The HCS Department's annual "Tomato Mania!" will occur April 20-21 from 10 am -5 pm at the Environmental Horticulture Unit (Bldg. 48) on campus. For a list of tomato varieties, click on the following link. The prices for the containerized plants are $6.00 each or 5 for $25. Contact: TomatoMania2012@gmail.com for more information.
  • We are all so excited for the Annual Crops Club Banquet! It is right around the corner, May 19th to be exact, so be sure to view the attached Word document which is your official invitation! It is important to RSVP soon, so be sure to pay through PayPal by using the web address in your invitation, or if you do NOT want to pay with PayPal, you can print the form, fill it out and bring a cash/check to the next Crops Club meeting, May 2nd, which will be held at the Crops Unit at 6:30 PM! At the banquet, the winners are announced for the club awards, which are handed out to outstanding club members. The scholarship winner of the California Crop Improvement Association Seed Certification Scholarship will also be announced. The Crops Club Annual Banquet is going to be a super fun event, with delicious food, a LIVE band, and games!
